TONY SCHWEIKLE

Early work history includes more than a decade as a musician and entertainer.    Tony worked as a photojournalist and has been published in major national and international magazines such as Paris Match, Stern, Compton Encyclopedia, Powder, Ski and American Heritage Journal. He has won numerous awards for his still photography. His film and television production and directing career began with action sports assignments. In 1984 his production of the unique ski film "The Legend of the Durango Kid" won first place in the International Ski Film Festival in New York City, beating out entries from Austria, Roger Brown's Colorado entry and Aspen's new ski film. This was followed by "Colorado Rid'n High", another award winning film. In April of 2000 Tony completed as UPM/Colorado the feature film "The Claim"
